CNA Certification in Texas

cna classes image 1Once you’ve enrolled in your courses, you will be studying for a minimum of 75 hours, 24 of which will involve learning practical skills in a healthcare facility. The remainder of your hours will be spent in the classroom. Part of your training will involve learning skills in CPR. Once you’ve finished your coursework, you are eligible to take the CNA certification exam. Your program will likely help you prepare for it by giving you a practice exam. In addition to written questions, you will be asked to demonstrate some of your newly learned practical skills during the exam. Successful completion of the test means your name will be placed on the Texas State Nurse Aide Registry.
