The work of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) is to provide skilled, hands-on care to patients in need. Sometimes CNAs work in the home and other times they provide care in healthcare facilities. In Ohio, certified nursing assistants are called State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). Accredited schools that can help you to become an STNA in Ohio are accredited by the Ohio Board of Health. Accredited coursework includes both hands-on skill building and regular classroom instruction.
