cna classes image 1To become certified as a CNA in North Carolina, you will need to complete an accredited program of 75 hours of training. After that, you can take the nurse aide certification exam. Some schools provide a video with sample type questions that will help you to prepare for the exam. The learning you receive and the skills you will work on in your chosen program will help you to qualify as a CNA. In order to sign up for the instruction you need, you must be at least 18 and in good health, pass a criminal record check, have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be able to speak and write fluent English. Some programs may also require that you have some training in CPR.
