CNA Certification in Montana

To officially become state certified in the state of Montana, there are a couple of different requirements to be met before being awarded licensure. There is a minimum requirement of at least 75 hours of approved training. Many of the courses in the state are 100 hours. Candidates will also be required to complete a TB test, fingerprinting, and a background check with a specific interest in felony inquiry. Once all of the above conditions are met, students can sit for the state exam which covers both a written test and a skill component. Upon successful completion of this examination, the student will be authorized to work as a certified nursing assistant throughout the state.
